Sturgis Bike Give Away

Welcome to the Housing and Volunteer registration page of SturgisBikeGiveaway.com.  Below is general information about the rally.  After reading this page we invite you to register as a volunteer and indicate your need for housing as well.

Note the following information: 

• The Rally ministry is August 3-13, 2011. We will need volunteers beginning August 3 with the drawing of the bike taking place at noon August 13.
  
• We have housing available for the dates of the Rally beginning the evening of August 2 and ending the evening of August 13. Economy rooms will be available at Cedar Canyon Camp in Rapid City. The cost is $20.00/night per volunteer. The rooms will accomodate different size group of 2-12 in each room. The accomodation will be bunk beds with mattresses and use of a central shower house. There will be a limited number of spaces for housing available in churches. Some will have tent spots and R.V. hookups. These will be at no cost. Housing will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis.
  
• Registration: 1)Go to the link to register. 2)Select team registration. 3)Name your team. 4)Select days you would like to work. 5)After you have registered your team, please pay all fees through paypal. Your registration is not complete until you do so. 6)Then inform your team members to go to the link. Tell them the name of your team and the days you are working so they can register individually. 7)Go to the housing option and select the housing that is available. If your housing is a cost item, please pay with paypal.
  
• Each registered volunteer will be given a follow-up ID number. The volunteer will list the ID number on each ticket of a person who prays to receive Christ. That person's contact information will be sent to the volunteer after the Rally, allowing the volunteer to do individual follow-up. The volunteer will sign in at training times with their ID number and email address.
  
• We are asking each volunteer to pay a $50 registration fee to cover some expenses for the Rally.
  
• As you prepare for the rally ministry, you are encouraged to do the following:

1. Pray that God will prepare you for the week.
2. Enlist people to pray for you on the days you share in the booth.
3. View testimony training on the website.
4. Share your testimony with others in your area prior to coming to the rally.

Note the deadline to register is July 5th for both the booth ministry and housing (or until all spaces are filled).
